Obviously Unrehearesed Improv!

Sam Bleckley: a dangerous yet adorable young man.

Behind a steel rail over an ocean-world
I saw its sleeping denizens slaughtered:
a billion volumes, pages softly furled ---
and I breathed the wind off the deep water.
What inconceivable children stay unspawned
Because the ocean was too big for me?
I would only know when, with the pale dawn,
Aeolus brushed their covers with stormy
hands: a leafy rustle he knew would urge
my strained mind onward. I could save one
or two; Enough to write a less-dull dirge,
to reflect their shine when I was done.
I shook my head and left without a sound
They soft leather and I homeward bound.

Sam is a Studio Art major, and will graduate in 2011. Sam's website is diiq.org.
